Knockraich Farm, owned and managed by Robert Rodger is located in the heart of Central Scotland. A closed herd of 60 British Friesian cattle produce the delicious raw ingredient used to create Katy Rodger's artisan dairy range. The cattle are grazed outdoors over the summer months and while wintering indoors are fed only on feeding of non GM origin.
Milk is natural, healthy and full of goodness, so we decided to keep it that way. In our custom built creamery we take our milk direct from the farm for pasteurising where it is blended with only the finest of natural ingredients.
Katy and her daughters, Helena and Catherine, have been making yoghurts since 2009 on the family’s farm. The farm’s closed herd of 60 British Freisian cows were all born on the farm and provide the milk, which is then churned in the family’s custom-built creamery.
The family’s yoghurts have attracted praise from the food industry, picking up Product of the Year and the Retail Dairy Award at the 2012 Food and Drink Excellence Awards, as well as 12 Gold Stars from the 2012 Great Taste Awards.
